FAQ
Why do I have to pay a deposit to book?
The $50 deposit secures your date and time on my calendar. It ensures your session is reserved just for you and helps protect my schedule from last-minute cancellations. The deposit is applied to your total session cost and is due at the time of booking.
How many pictures will we receive?
The number of photos you receive depends on the type of session and how many individuals are involved. However, for most portrait sessions, you can expect a gallery of 25–35 professionally edited images. I always aim to deliver the best moments while keeping your gallery full of variety and personality.
When will I receive my photos?
Typically, I’m just as eager to see the finished photos as you are! My turnaround time is no longer than 10 days after your session. You’ll receive an online gallery with your fully edited images, ready to view and download.
What if I need to reschedule?
I understand that life happens! If you need to reschedule, please notify me at least 48 hours before your session.
What are the payment options?
I accept payments via cash, Venmo, or card (invoicing). The $50 deposit is due at the time of booking, and the remaining balance is due on or before the day of your session.
How will we receive our photos?
All photos are delivered through an online/digital gallery. Once your session is complete, I’ll upload your photos and share the gallery link with you via email and/or phone number. You’ll have indefinite access to this gallery, but I highly recommend downloading and saving the images on your own devices for safekeeping.
What if the weather is bad?
If the weather is unfavorable on the day of your session (rain, high winds, etc.), I’ll work with you to reschedule. We’ll aim for another day that works for everyone, and I’ll keep you informed as early as possible if any changes need to be made.
Do you travel for sessions?
For portrait sessions, I typically stay within Carteret County and the surrounding areas. Sessions that are more than one hour away may require a small travel fee of $0.75 per mile. I also travel to Wilkesboro, NC several times a year, so if you’re located in or near that area, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m always happy to discuss travel options—just inquire!
